Well have you ever subscribed to a knitting subscription box ? Since i am a fairly new knitter, i thought why not!
Once a month you receive a box with some yummy yarn ! And a pattern. This is the first one i received, called the Thundersnow beanie, designed by Troy Martin from the Belfast Mini Mill in Prince Edward Island.
This kit included some skeins of mohair in blues and grey. I used a 2.75mm circular needle and tried the linen stitch.
Took me a while to get the hang of it, but i managed to figure it out. I will definitely be making this beanie again !
I am still learning a lot about knitting, but i quite enjoy the portability of projects…
