I started a pair of socks a couple weeks ago, but as usual i put them down to work on something else.
Well last week, i finally got “Covid” who knew… mask mandates have been lifted in BC, and almost 2 weeks from the date, i got it. Even though i wear my mask in every indoor place i go.. i guess it couldn’t be avoided,,, OH well.
Anyways back to socks ! i was scared to knit socks, and then I decided… ok got to learn this, how hard can it be?

I found this book on amazon, How to Knit Socks in three methods made easy. See on amazon.ca
Super easy instructions for sock beginners and a couple different patterns in the bool, for practice.
For the pair i made, i decided to use the mans sizing, because its nice to have bigger sloughy socks for wearing in the house.
I blocked them and left them outside to dry today. Im pretty pleased on the sizing and how they turned out.
I used worsted weight, a Peruvian wool made by cascade yarn. I used 1 ball, and that was all i needed. See below my socks!
Happy knitting ! from A Little Bit of Nordic!
