Elske Livet 2023!
Welcome to 2023!
Still feels like yesterday when we were starting January 2022! The years just seemed to fly by so fast. Ever since the pandemic started in early 2020, this past year has felt a little more normal. Even though someone decided to share Covid with me, I managed to recover after 5 weeks and managed to keep moving forward.
This year is going to look a little different for me. I won’t be training for a long swim event, just a smaller swim event. About 7km. 😂
A drop in the bucket, as my friends and family say… but maybe compared to last years 12 & 18 km swims.
I have started in my new coaching career. I will continue to apprentice under Tri Balance. You can go read all about it here ! My passion has always been to help people, no matter how much it takes. Coaching seems to be the right fit for me.
But seriously, if you really want to improve your swimming ! You can !
I have joined the new YMCA pool close to home, and I look forward for it to open soon ! In addition, I will be running my first beginners swim program starting in February, you can find that information on our Tribalance.ca website and perhaps someone will sign up !
That’s my swimming plug ……
A lot of people don’t know, but I suffer from a rare disorder called.. Multipotentiality, sounds bad right ?! For me no goal is too small or too large. Nothing is off the table to try and learn as long as you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything. But the most important thing to remember in Norwegian is Elske Livet ( Love life) no matter what the outcome is. We must continue enjoy the experience and Love Life !
Sometimes for me, Loving Life is hard. That is my word, that I remind myself everyday.
I leave you with my Norwegian word to think and ponder on and hope you embrace it in 2023 !
Happy New Year Everyone, and hope this year brings you lot of good health, happiness to you and your family !
Upcoming for January
